I Love Me!! Because God Loves Me!!!

Good Day Everyone!!!

Did you know that you can't truly love others unless you love yourself first? Love comes from God because He is Love(1 John 4:19 below)!! God loves you and gives you His love so you can share and give love to others. But as we see in Matthew 22: 39(below) we are not able to love others unless we love ourselves. God only made one of me and one of you. No one can love and share God's love the way you do. It is so important to learn to love who you are!! I personally have had to work on this and in some areas I am still working and learning how to. When we have learned to be critical of ourselves it takes time to retrain our mind(soul) to love who God made, which is you and He loves all of you!! It is ok to say I love myself and who God made me to be!! When you start loving who you are that love will spread to others!

1 John 4:19 NKJV

"We love Him because He first loved us."

(Jesus speaking)"And the second is like it 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' "

1 John 4:8 NKJV

"He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Love in this last verse means in the Greek

ἀγάπη(agapē)

Strong's Greek 26:From agapao; love, i.e. Affection or benevolence; specially a love-feast.
