Live By Faith

Good Day!!!

Has anyone ever told you, you just need to live by Faith? I know I have been told this several times along with God never gives you more than you can handle, and God will supply your every need. All of these statements are true!! I know I personally have and still do at times struggle with:

2 Corinthians 5:7 KVJ

"(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)"

I tend to want to know how everything is going to work out, but God has not told us to figure everything out. God has asked us to be faithful with what we have and He will bless us with more, Matthew 25:23. This is living by faith stewarding what we have well and not stressing about what we don't physically see. Something I have learned this year was the difference between Faith in God and Faith of God.

Faith in God- is coming to God and believing He can and will. Faith to receive from God!

Faith of God- is having God's faith, you are part of His seed, a son. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith, meaning He is our source of faith, Hebrews 12:2. Faith to work from God!

We can see examples of both of these in Matthew 9:35-10:8 the crowds came to Jesus because they believe He could and would heal them. Jesus sent out the twelve Apostles giving them His power.
