The Fruit We Bear!!!

Good morning all!!!

I had this thought the other day when working on blanching and freezing the harvest from our garden, a couple days ago, "Judge them by their fruits." But I hesitated to make a post because the thought didn't feel complete, till this morning!

My husband messaged me that a friend of his was in pain and asked for me and our girls to pray for his friend. So I prayed then called one of ours girls in and asked her to tell her sister about the friend and if they would pray. She went right out to the other room told her sister and they pray for the friend. That moment blessed this mommas heart because I seen my husband's and I's fruits!!!

Matthew 7: 15-20 NKJV

Jesus speaking, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them."

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending the Alive Christian Festival and hear one of my favorite bands Skillet. The lead Singer John Cooper share about the wolves in sheep's clothing and how we need to watch. This is Scriptural and we really need to watch, but not just in other people, also in ourselves are we bearing good fruit? In comparison to our garden we have crops growing but if we are not pouring good soil, seeds, water, love, and praying over it the produce it will died.

Every verse that we use to see people and the world around us can and should be use to see ourselves first then the world.

Dear Lord gives us eyes to see all things the way You see them. May our fruit be a shining light of the Father's heart in Jesus name. Amen
