You Are More Than A Name!

Good Day Family!

Names are important they help others to know who we are, what our business is, our genealogy, organization, etc. This post is inspired by a conversation I had earlier with my husband. So many people today want to be know by their name, their business/organizations name, or people want to connect with each other because of their name. The truth is though we are not actually attracted to their name, it is what they carry. God has blessed us all with gifts, talents, and revelation that we are able to share with love.

Think of a time you wanted to read a book by a certain author, attend a specific conference, attend a certain church/worship service. Was it those peoples name that you wanted or what they carried? Your name identifies your body but is not your identity God is your identity and says who you are. God gave you a special gift, talent, and revelation that only you bring to the body of Christ! When people seek what you carry they might mistake it for your name and want to carry your name so they get what you have; and if that's the case I think it is wise to address that your name is not your God given gift, talent, or revelation. We don't have to carry a person or organization name to be impactful at sharing the Kingdom!
